More movie's I've seen the last few weeks.....

I wanted to add to this post!!!!!
A few months ago I watched a movie called "STAY" Staring Ryan Gosling
A very strange movie I really enjoyed it SOOOOO Rent it!!!

1. Blood Diamond > About a man named Solomon Bo who is separated from his family and forced to work in the diamond camps in Africa .. His son is later captured and brain washed into becoming a child soldier.. Solomon finds a very rare and large pink diamond and hides it.. Danny Archer (Leonardo Di Caprio) Over hears that Solomon has found this diamond and offers Solomon the dream of reuniting with his family and a new life if he takes him to the diamond.. Set in the Sierra Leone Civil War in 1999..This movie gives an in depth look at the government and rebel forces in Africa..
This is an emotionally moving film and I would recommend it to anyone..



2. The Number 23 > About a married man Walter Sparrow who's wife gives him a book she found in a book store to read about the number 23.. He becomes obsessed with the book and believes the book was wrote about him..
Very good movie..Jim Carey is exceptional! He brings every aspect of acting from dark and sexy to easy going and funny .. Just watch it..

3.Children of Men... 2.5 out of 5 >Good story line though!

4. 300 .. 3 out of 5.. Excellent fight scenes and picture!

5. Meet the Robinson's.. 4 out of 5 .. Great kids movie..First one I have wanted to watch to the finish in a long time!

6. Man of the year..3.5 out of 5 .. This was a funny film and I just love Robin Williams!

Rocky Balboa

Growing up in the 80's watching movies like Rocky.. I was excited to hear that Rocky Balboa was on it's way to the movie store..
The movie reveals what happened to Rocky after his last fight... Things aren't too good for him these days.. Suffering loses and distance from his son.. Rocky is lonely and feels a huge void in his life.. At 50 years old.. Rocky is put into a "virtual" fight with Mason 'The Line' Dixon the new heavy weight champion of the world..Which is displayed on Sport Center.. The virtual fight reveals that if Rocky was in his prime he would win the fight against Mason..
This movie was what I thought..The beginning of the end.. Rocky's happy ending..
Sylvester Stallone gave a great performance in betraying Rocky as a down to earth easy going all around nice guy..And my god! Did he look fit in this movie..With only one fight in this movie I would have to say that the fight was the best part.. I rewound the fight to watch it again. Anyway..I'm not a movie critic but I wanted to write about this movie because I loved every minute of it.. hahaha I hope this didn't sound horrible..

LETTER TO HUSBAND

To my darling husband,


Before you return from your overseas trip I just want to let you know


about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into


the driveway. Fortunately not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so


please don't worry too much about me.


I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I


accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The


garage door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt


when it bumped into your car.


I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will


forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my sweetheart. I


am enclosing a picture for you.


I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.

A koala was sitting in a gum tree...... smoking a joint

when a little lizard walked past, looked up and said,

"Hey Koala! What are you doing?"

The koala said, "Smoking a joint, come up and have some."

So the little lizard climbed up and sat next to the koala

where they enjoyed a few joints.

After a while the little lizard said that his mouth was "dry"

and that he was going to get a drink from the river.

The little lizard was so stoned that he leaned too far

over and fell into the river.



A crocodile saw this and swam over to the little lizard and

helped him to the side. Then he asked the little lizard,

"What's the matter with you?"



The little lizard explained to the crocodile that he

was sitting smoking a joint with the koala in the tree,

got too stoned and then fell into the river while taking a drink.



The crocodile said that he had to check this out and walked

into the rain forest, found the tree where the koala was

sitting finishing a joint. The crocodile looked up and said,

"Hey you!"

So the koala looked down at him and said,

"Shiiiiiiiiiiit dude.....

How much water did you drink?!!"
